Proper Toners for Home Office Use
Many work steps, most of which are previously done in the office, are now outsourced to a Home Office . This gives the employee the opportunity for better timing and more efficient work, but at the same time the employer also benefits from better work results and lower fixed costs, if jobs can be assigned flexibly. Nevertheless, the quality of the work, especially as regards the handling of documents, must be at the same level. Cheap expressions, distorted colors or smeared sketches are an extremely negative factor in the external presentation.
For this reason, we would like to explain to you in this article what meaning the toner has and what fundamental differences there are.
Different aspects play a role
A toner serves as a colorant in the printing process, making it one of the most important components in the home office, even before the actual printer model. It is an extremely fine powder, which is composed of synthetic resins, electrifiable metal oxides, pigments and other excipients - only with the help of an optimal mixture can be ensured that effects such as a black graduation without dirt particles or deep blacks are achieved. Cheap compatible toner cartridges, which do not meet the requirements of the device type and thus have a profoundly changing quality, thereby represent the biggest problem. Requirements and use of toner require, especially in the context of more and more developments and improvements that any gradation of color [
] Then there is also a focus on avoiding residues on the print substrate, which minimizes the maintenance effort and promises a longer shelf life. In some companies, it has now begun to finance some of the equipment (including printer and toner) to achieve a consistent quality. Low-priced toner recognizes first of all because this in its consistency is not sufficiently resistant to moisture, so blurred in many cases and thus produces unclean results. Therefore, in the next paragraph, we will explain what kinds of toners exist and what the differences are.
Different types of toner
If you take the types of toner available on the market, there are basically three different types.
- The so-called one-component toner is often used as the basis, because this is a very environmentally friendly variant with the advantage that it works as a unit in the middle of a single cartridge. This system is very low maintenance due to the replacement of a single cartridge, yet the toner moves in a higher priced segment. One of the most important components here is the developer, who introduces a toner brush to then distribute the toner particles ideally on the photoconductor drum.
- The two-component toner is a model with a separate developer Wear is given. However, such systems are extremely expensive to manufacture, which is associated with higher selling prices and therefore can only be considered useful if they have to perform a higher number of printing operations. Should an exchange be necessary, this concerns only individual components. When buying toner, there are no special features on the developer side, which gives you more savings.
- The colloquially known as & quot; liquid toner & ldquo; advertised devices, which in fact work with a sensitive transfer fluid and thus enable higher pressure results, represent the third variant. Here, the now exposed drum moves accordingly through the transfer liquid, the toner particles are absorbed and distributed evenly, since it is so-called Color particles are. Accordingly, the different substances can not dissolve or join together, so that a delicate distribution is possible.
Due to these mostly technically complicated methods, which lead to higher costs if used accordingly, a compatible toner cartridge is recommended. With its chip, it has no limitation on printing processes, is provided with far more toner powder and has no loss in terms of quality. In addition, the much lower purchase price and higher efficiency allow for savings of up to 80 percent.
